This morning I headed to the gym to do my part of the 36K for Miracles Virtual Race. My part of it was a 5K. I had 4 miles on tap for the training. So I broke up the mileage by doing .65 for a warm up by walking, then the 5K in 45:03 and only walked for a minute, the rest I ran the whole thing. Then .25 for a cool down. I foam rolled my leg before I left for the gym before the crack of ass, then after my run in one of the aerobic rooms. I was at the gym this morning at 6am. and there was more than a few people there. Not that many freaky people though. There really is nothing exciting about this race report besides 1) why is the Food Channel always on at the gym and 2) geesh, when the heck will college basketball be over? Those Sr's who loose are so sad to watch.
I can't even watch the Food Channel anymore. I gave up meat and fast food for Lent and I've kept to it. This year Lent is not 40 days. That's right it is actually 46 days !!! I'm almost 12 days into it and just watching the Food Channel is torture. I did good yesterday when I went to Chili's for lunch by myself. I just had them make a cheese quesadilla for me. No chicken or steak and none of those yummy little sliders they have. sigh.
I don't want this post to get to rambley like. I'm exhausted from this morning and I've fallen asleep on the couch already a couple of times. lol.
