My stats for the last year on Daily Mile.
Wow. I suck. LOL. The month of June I am sure that's mostly bike and not running at all since that's when I got stuck with the boot again. This is sad. Ugh. Another year where I'll barely make 500 miles. I won't ever get to 1,000 miles if I keep getting injured. Boo.
That itty bitty 3 for October isn't really 3 either it's 2.67 miles walked on Tuesday morning. oy. I ran about a block of it. The IT band was tight as it has been after not doing anything for awhile. I really can't believe after hooking up the Garmin that the last day I walked anywhere was about a month ago. Sick kids, being sick, being to busy to make time for myself just flies by. If my IT band wasn't tight I probably could have gone a bit more longer. I miss it. Boo.
I could use some good thoughts this morning as I have an interview for a job at the kids school. I appreciate it!

finger, toes and eyeballs crossed!
ReplyDeleteGood luck at the interview!!!!!

ReplyDeleteIf it makes you feel any better, I have all of 8 weeks worth of running for the entire year. Now that's ugly!
Good luck - and hey, I'm right with you on the (lack of) October workouts. It'll get better, for both of us.

ReplyDeleteGood thoughts all the way from across the ocean. That jobs sounds like something ideal for you. When my daughter was three I taught in her preschool (German kindergarten) She still talks about it and asks me when I am going to teach at her school again (she is now in fourth grade) Time with our children is a precious gift and I hope you get the job. Cheers!
ReplyDeleteI have never run this much in my life and I am at 350 miles right now for the year...so be proud of what you CAN do not what you AREN'T doing!!
ReplyDeleteDon't beat yourself up. Life happens and it is what it is. Apparently we learn from adversity so you're probably ready for a phD in something right?
ReplyDeleteAll the best with the interview.
Thinking about you - how'd the interview go?
