Ben Gay Zero Degrees Review
Last year right before the Chicago Marathon I received an offer to review a new Ben Gay product called Ben Gay Zero Degrees Gel. I had been using a Ben Gay product that you had to rub in with your hands and I really liked it. It worked well and the smell was not overwhelming. It reminded me of other products like Biofreeze that I have used before. That product I liked because you can apply it with a little roller ball and not get your hands sticky.
When I came home from the marathon I was sore and my muscles felt extremely tired. That night after the Chicago Marathon I liberally used the Ben Gay Zero Degrees Gel on my calves, knees, left ankle and the bottom of my feet. It was easy to use because it is made just like a deodorant dispenser. No messy hands and you can apply it anywhere. The smell was like the other new Ben Gay product I had used and was not an overwhelming smell either and actually fades after a few minutes.
The next morning after the marathon I woke up feeling pretty good. I could walk normally. Which after 28 miles the day before yeah it was a relief because it was Columbus day and I had two kids off of school! The next day I even walked 2 miles, then 4.5 the next day and then 2 miles after that. I applied the Ben Gay Zero Degrees nightly before bed. Now before even if it was a half marathon I most likely would have been to sore to do anything for a week afterwards.
Since October I have used the Ben Gay Zero Degrees whenever I am super sore at night. If I feel like my ankle, IT band or even if my hip bursitis is acting up I apply it before bed and almost always feel better in the am. You can even put the applicator in the freezer to get the added benefit of it being cold. I did not do this because I always kept it next to my bed on my night stand.
Another thing that's great about this product is that you can pick it up at your local CVS Pharmacy or Walgreens. You don't have to special order it or find a specialty shop to purchase it. If you would like to try the Ben Gay Zero Degrees product you can follow this link to the Ben Gay home page to find a $3 off coupon!!
**Ben Gay sent me the Zero Degrees product for review for free. The opinions are all of my own. Thank you!
