Goals 2013

I looked back this morning at my goals for 2012...

1. Get to my goal weight.
2. Run again.
3. Stay injury free.
4. Cross & strength train 2-3x a week.

huh. Wow. That didn't go well at all.

Day 1 of the New Year. Same goals.

Easy, huh?

Last night we were suppose to go out to Ruth Chris steakhouse because we had 1) a sitter and 2) a gift card. Well this didn't happen because as soon as I published that post I found Avery sleeping again in her bed. Sweating. Profusely. Again a temperature. Gave her some ibuprofen and let her sleep and canceled our plans. She slept 12 hours. And she's better today.

Know what else is better today? Our oven. Yes. The ancient oven the repair guy told me was dead.
All because of a slight electrical problem that was realized this morning when we went to move the Keurig over when I brought up our toaster oven from the basement. Someone *cough*cough*notme, moved something in the basement on Sunday morning and it cut the power to that area. Our house is so old that stuff is wired not unsafe but just weird. Sigh.

It is the first blessing of the year though!! Thank you GOD!!

The past few weeks I have signed up for a bunch of races as well!! I will do a separate post about those soon, as one is in just a few weeks!

I also will be raising money again for Run for Autism ( I swear no marathons!) and will have a team you can join where you can help raise money as well as you race this year.

There was something else but I just wanted to say but

2013 is going to kick ass!!

  1. You will do great in 2013. I've had the same goal of running over 1000 miles for several years now... one of these years (THIS ONE!) I'll get it.

  2. So happy to hear Avery is better, but bummed that your plans will canceled. Do you have a rain-date for your night out?

And happy that you figured out how to get power back to the oven, lol! :)
